Texas Motor Speedway recently partnered with Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers to salute active-duty military personnel and veterans at Fort Cavazos by providing complimentary tickets to the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, May 4.

TMS Executive Vice President/General Manager Mark Faber and members of his staff, along with Raising Cane’s representatives, traveled from Fort Worth to Killeen last week to kick off the “Caniac Salute to Service” at the U.S. Army’s premier installation for training and heavy forces deployment center.

Representatives from TMS and Raising Cane’s displayed their support and appreciation by engaging with the base’s active-duty military and veterans, handing out promotional giveaway items and providing tickets to the marquee race of the NASCAR tripleheader weekend, the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY.

Fort Cavazos is home to more than 38,000 active-duty military personnel and nearly 142,000 military retirees accessing the installation, camp facilities and resources on the 214,968-acre site. The base, which houses Headquarters III Corps, 1st Cavalry Division, 1st Army Division West and many other units and organizations, supports the most intensive and varied training programs of any installation in the contiguous United States.

“Texas Motor Speedway is proud to partner with Raising Cane’s to provide complimentary tickets to the active military personnel, veterans and families of Fort Cavazos as a thank you for their sacrifice,” Faber said. “We have had successful partnerships with Fort Cavazos and Raising Cane’s separately, so it’s an honor to have all three entities working together to show our appreciation to those who serve our country.”

Raising Cane’s has been a partner of TMS since 2022. Previously, Raising Cane’s served as entitlement partner for the “Race for Cash” event held during NASCAR Cup Series race weekends in Cowtown. The event provided 500 children ranging from ages 3-12 the chance to grab as much cash as possible by collecting coins across a giant tarp on the ballfield
