“Wheel of Fortune” Wheelmobile rolling into Texas Motor Speedway to give public a chance to be a contestant on the TV game show
FORT WORTH, Texas – More than 5,000 fans of the ever-popular “Wheel of Fortune” television game show are expected to make the trek to Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday for an opportunity to be a potential contestant on an upcoming episode.

The “Wheel of Fortune” Wheelmobile, the show’s promotional vehicle, will be at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage located in the speedway infield from 1-5 p.m., where fans can audition for the show via a random draw. Fans will have the opportunity to fill out an application, have their name drawn at random to play a simulated version of the game onstage, win unique prizes and be evaluated as a potential contestant for the broadcast version of the show.
“Wheel of Fortune” staff members will begin handing out applications one hour before each show begins. Searches will be held at 1, 2:30 and 4 p.m., with each show lasting approximately an hour. Everyone who attends the event will be able to submit an application with participants being selected to come to the stage and audition via a random draw.

Since its inception in 1999, the Wheelmobile has logged over 350,000 miles and has visited over 300 cities. More than a million “Wheel of Fortune” fans have attended Wheelmobile events and the majority of contestants that appear on the televised version of the show come out to Wheelmobile events in their hometowns.
Free parking will be available in the infield and accessible via the South Tunnel from Allison Way off Highway 114. The South Tunnel will be open beginning at 11 a.m.
