YORBA LINDA, CA – John Force and the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car team will add the branding of Republic Services, the second largest provider of services in the domestic non-hazardous solid waste industry, during the Carquest Auto Parts NHRA Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. The PEAK/Republic Services Camaro will look to improve on Force’s season opening semi-final finish at the Circle K NHRA Winternationals that has the 16-time Funny Car champion sitting in the No. 4 position in the Mello Yello Funny Car standings.

“Bryan Emrich the Chief Marketing Officer for PEAK told me when we started working with PEAK that we were going to market differently. Boy has he proven it since B to B is what it is all about. Seeing my Funny Car emblazed with Republic Services on the side is exciting. I am from the old world,” said John Force, 143-time Funny Car winner. “I have done everything from selling shoes to working at Taco Bell and Denny’s. I drive a race car now but I have delivered money all over downtown LA with Garrett Freight Liners that came from the mint in Denver. I have never driven a trash truck and I am hoping to get the opportunity to ride along or drive a Republic Services truck when we are in Phoenix. I can’t wait to make new friends.”

This year PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant will be the primary sponsor for 143-time winner John Force and through a number of business to business relationships will continue to use Force’s Camaro Funny Car as one of the fastest marketing tools in the country.

Through their subsidiaries Republic Services provides non-hazardous solid waste and recycling services for commercial, industrial, municipal and residential customers. Their customers come first as they strive to safely and sustainably provide reliable service through 338 collection operations, 200 transfer stations, 193 active solid waste landfills and 66 recycling centers and 69 landfill gas and renewable energy projects across 39 states and Puerto Rico.  The one race partnership with John Force Racing ties in perfectly to their corporate theme of being “excellence driven.”

“For Republic Services, it is amazing to be part of such a great brand and racing team. Phoenix is home to our corporate headquarters so it is nice to have our brand present in this market and support the NHRA. And with over 14,000 drivers in our company, it is especially cool to be able to connect our brand to this sport,” said Tony Robson, Republic Services, Director of Brand & Advertising. “You see how John Force Racing operates as a ‘whole team’ and that is our philosophy at Republic Services as well. As a team, we strive to be ‘excellence driven’ and you can tell JFR does the same thing.”

Professional qualifying for the Carquest NHRA Nationals will begin on Friday, February 26th at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
