FORT WORTH – Speedway Children’s Charities Texas will distribute $203,000 at Texas Motor Speedway this evening during a grant ceremony celebrating a year of fund-raising for local charities in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties.

Children associated with the 30 grant recipient organizations will meet Santa Claus, enjoy snacks and receive the dozens of bicycles presented as gifts before a showing of the holiday movie ELF on Big Hoss’ DigiLED Vision Ultra screen.

The grant ceremony will take place on-stage in the TMS infield, directly in front of the Big Hoss screen.

Assisting Santa will be Mark Faber, TMS executive vice president & general manager; Marissa Chaney, executive director, Speedway Children’s Charities Texas and representatives from recipient charities. The formal program is scheduled from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Participants and fans attending are encouraged to drive through the Christmas lights show following the program.
