BAYTOWN, Texas – John Force is featuring a special paint scheme this weekend on his PEAK / BlueDEF PLATINUM Chevrolet Camaro SS to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of his 100th win at the NHRA SpringNationals at Houston Raceway Park.
The new paint scheme was unveiled during a press conference on Friday at Houston Raceway Park.
All four members of the John Force Racing stable (John Force, Brittany Force, Robert Hight and Austin Prock) were on hand for media interviews and to show off the car.
Force won his 100th race at HRP on April 14, 2002, when he beat Dale Creasy Jr., Del Worsham, Whit Bazemore and Tommy Johnson Jr. Force has won seven times at Houston Raceway Park and has qualified No.1 11 times at this historic track.
“Houston Raceway Park has been good to me over the years,” Force said. “The Angel Family put on a great show and NHRA is working hard to make this one special. PEAK, they wanted to do something special for the 20th anniversary of my 100th win and I’m excited to get out and show this Chevy hot rod off.”
After four races this season Force is ranked fifth in the points standings and he trails points leader Matt Hagan by 177 points.
