NTT IndyCar Series drivers test at Texas Motor Speedway

FORT WORTH, Texas – Some 17 NTT IndyCar Series drivers are participating this week in test sessions at Texas Motor Speedway in preparation for the upcoming racing season.

They include: 

Andretti Autosport – Colton Herta, James Hinchcliffe, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Alexander Rossi
 
ARROW McLaren SP – Pato O’Ward, Felix Rosenqvist
 
Ed Carpenter Racing – Conor Daly, Rinus VeeKay
 
AJ Foyt Racing – Dalton Kellett, Sebastien Bourdais
 
Meyer-Shank Racing – Jack Harvey
 
Team Penske – Scott McLaughlin, Josef Newgarden, Simon Pagenaud, Will Power
 
Rahal Letterman Lanigan – Graham Rahal, Takuma Sato
 
Texas Motor Speedway will open the 2021 major event season May 1-2 with an NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader. The Genesys 300 will air live May 1 on NBCSN beginning at 6 p.m. CT while the XPEL 375 will air live May 2 on NBCSN beginning at 4 p.m. CT.  Both races will be the 33rd and 34th INDYCAR SERIES races at TMS since the first race during the track’s inaugural season in 1997.
 
The revised 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule makes Texas Motor Speedway the third race weekend of the season, the first and only oval track race before the Indianapolis 500.
