FORT WORTH, Texas – James Hinchcliffe is learning pretty quickly that it takes more than a few good dance moves to earn an official spot in the Texas Motor Speedway Bobblehead Series lineup.

The self-proclaimed Mayor of Hinchtown and runner-up on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2016, Hinchcliffe – or more accurately, his bobblehead – was forced to answer some TMS-related questions from already established bobbleheads Danica Patrick and Graham Rahal. Both had their bobbleheads revealed in April and June of 2017, respectively.

Hinchcliffe was kind enough to provide the voiceover for his life-sized bobblehead while Texas Motor Speedway’s media relations department once again got behind the mics to provide the VO’s for Rahal and Patrick ahead of this weekend’s DXC Technology 600 tripleheader race weekend.

This was the second edition of TMS’ new bobblehead video series, which Hinchcliffe has renamed the “Texas Motor Speedway Bobblehead Thingy Thing. April’s bobblehead parody starred Jimmie JohnsonTony Stewart and Kevin Harvick.

Hinchcliffe’s bobblehead is sponsored by AO Smith Corporation, a water products company, and is the second in a series of three bobbleheads to be released by Texas Motor Speedway in 2018. Johnson was the featured bobblehead for the April 8 O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race while Kurt Busch will have the honors for the AAA Texas 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race on Sunday,Nov. 4.

Hinchcliffe’s regular-sized bobblehead will be available to the first 20,000 fans attending Saturday’s “America’s Original Nighttime IndyCar Race.”

Tickets for Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series PPG 400 and Saturday night’s Verizon IndyCar Series DXC Technology 600 are available by visiting www.texasmotorspeedway.com or by calling the speedway ticket office at 817.215.8500.
