Today’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race is the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. I have to admit, I love visiting California. The varied regions and perfect climate are big draws for me, but two things dominate my love of California–beaches and wine. My favorite place to be is at a beach. My favorite beverage is red wine. California provides both. As I watch today’s race, I will be reminiscing about my time there. And I will most certainly be watching with a glass of California red in my hand.  If you don’t usually drink wine, don’t let it intimidate you.  Try something!  If you like it, find some others that are similar.  If you don’t like it, find something different!  Even your grocery store probably carries some very tasty, reasonably priced wines.  So, pop that cork and raise your glass!  Cheers!
