{"id":9834,"date":"2017-06-01T09:24:45","date_gmt":"2017-06-01T14:24:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/racedaysa.com\/?p=9834"},"modified":"2017-06-01T09:24:45","modified_gmt":"2017-06-01T14:24:45","slug":"indy-500-winner-takuma-sato-visits-dallas-cowboys-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/racedaysa.com\/index.php\/2017\/06\/01\/indy-500-winner-takuma-sato-visits-dallas-cowboys-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Indy 500 winner Takuma Sato visits Dallas Cowboys practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FRISCO, Texas &#8211; Indianapolis 500 winner <strong>Takuma Sato<\/strong>&nbsp;had the opportunity to visit on Wednesday with America&#8217;s Team &#8211; the Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n<p>Sato, who has been on the&nbsp;Indianapolis 500 Champion&#8217;s Tour after winning the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, made a&nbsp;stop Wednesday in Dallas\/Fort Worth after he arrived&nbsp;from New York City. &nbsp;He came to the&nbsp;Dallas\/Fort Worth Metroplex to help promote the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indycar.com\">Verizon IndyCar Series<\/a> race &#8211; the Rainguard Water Sealers 600 on Saturday, June 10, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.texasmotorspeedway.com\">Texas Motor Speedway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sato&nbsp;enjoyed a private tour of the Dallas Cowboys&#8217; practice facility at The Star in Frisco and then watched practice as the team went through Organized Team Activities (OTA) on the field. Following the conclusion of practice, he met a number of Cowboys players, including stars such as quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver Dez Bryant, running back Ezekiel Elliott and tight end Jason Witten among others, and presented each with a commemorative Indy 500 milk bottle signed by him.
