GLENDORA, Calif. (March 7, 2016) \u2013 NHRA officials announced today that AMALIE Motor Oil Company has agreed to a multi-year extension of its title rights sponsorship of the prestigious NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway. This year\u2019s AMALIE Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals is scheduled for March 17-20, and is the third event in the 24-race 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are pleased to continue our partnership with AMALIE Motor Oil at this tradition rich event,\u201d said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president, chief development officer. \u201cAMALIE Motor Oil has been actively involved in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series with its association with Terry McMillen and his XTERMIGATOR Top Fuel Dragster. The continuation of its involvement with the NHRA and the AMALIE Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals will build upon past successes and further its reach in the series.\u201d<\/p>\n

As title-rights sponsor, AMALIE Motor Oil will conduct marketing activities, including themed advertising and promotions, in the Gainesville marketplace. The company will also have a presence on-site at the event, including signage and display space, as well as in the race broadcast on Fox Sports 1.<\/p>\n
