Today marks eight days before the NASCAR Cup Series drivers suit up for the most prestigious event on the schedule, the 2025 DAYTONA 500. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin is the winningest DAYTONA 500 competitor in this year\u2019s race with three victories (2016, 2019 and 2020) but eight is an even bigger number for the 20-year NASCAR Cup Series veteran. He has eight overall \u201cpodium\u201d finishes \u2013 three wins, a runner-up and four third place finishes in 19 starts in the Great American Race. No other driver in this year\u2019s field has won multiple times.<\/p>\n
