Austin, TX  \u2013  The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) has announced the 2025 schedule, which will see the Lone Star Le Mans staged at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) on September 7, 2025.<\/p>\n

The 2024 Lone Star Le Mans will feature a return to Texas for the cars of Le Mans for a six-hour enduro this Labor Day weekend at COTA. 
\n 
\nThe 2025 WEC schedule announcement was made in the run up to this weekend\u2019s 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will take the green flag on Saturday led by a Penske Porsche and Ganassi-run Cadillac Racing front row following a thrilling Hyperpole session on Thursday that saw Cadillac Racing holding both spots on the front row until the Penske Porsche took pole in the closing seconds of the session.

\nThe field is one of the most competitive ever, with very slim margins between the 62-car mixed-class entry as the race promises to be a thriller. 
\n 
\nThe WEC events feature a dynamic roster of both Le Mans Hypercar and LMGT3 machines as the manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, and Corvette do battle on the track. The championship has gained significant momentum globally as the unique challenge of endurance racing continues to develop a growing audience.

\n\u201cWith events that are attracting record crowds, and some amazing racing between some of the most compelling brands and names in motorsport, the World Endurance Championship is going from strength to strength,\u201d said  Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric  Lequien, CEO of the World Endurance Championship.  \u201cSo it is fantastic to be able to announce that the championship will once again return to COTA in 2025 as we build on the WEC presence in North America. Our fans have really resonated with the idea of bringing Le Mans to Texas and we are very much looking forward to our Lone Star Le Mans event this Labor Day weekend.\u201d

\nThe 2024 running of the Lone Star Le Mans will feature one day of practice (August 30) ahead of the Saturday Hyperpole qualifying on August 31st<\/sup>, with the six-hour race set to go green at 1:30 PM ET on September 1.
