FORT WORTH \u2013 If you are a fan of the A&E hit reality series Duck Dynasty<\/em><\/strong>, then you will want to be at Texas Motor Speedway<\/a> next Saturday night for the final running of the Duck Commander 500 NASCAR<\/a> Sprint Cup Series race.<\/p>\n

The Duck Dynasty cast will return to Texas Motor Speedway for the Duck Commander 500 on April 9, 2016.<\/p><\/div>\n

For the past two years Duck Commander<\/a> has been the title sponsor for the Spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.\u00a0 This year\u2019s race is the final event of a three-year sponsorship and a new title sponsor will be announced soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a great partnership being a part of this race,\u201d said Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, during an interview Wednesday at TMS\u2019 Media Day at Gilley\u2019s Dallas.\u00a0 \u201cIt was a natural fit and we love Texas.\u00a0 We love it here and have met a lot of great friends here.\u00a0 We plan to stay involved in some way without being the title sponsor.\u201d<\/p>\n

Robertson, along with his wife Korie, both said that just about the entire family and cast will be at TMS next weekend for the race.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have the whole family coming to the race and we are very excited about all being together,\u201d Korie said.\u00a0 \u201cEveryone will play a role in this event.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Robertson\u2019s daughter, Sadie, who finished runner-up in last year\u2019s Dancing With The Stars<\/em> competition, has been named the Honorary Starter for the Duck Commander.\u00a0 She will have the honor of waving the green flag from the starter\u2019s stand for the 40-car field in the first Saturday night race of the Sprint Cup season that will be televised live on FOX (6:30 p.m. CT).<\/p>\n

Robertson was a fan favorite on Dancing With The Stars<\/em> as she advanced to the finals with partner Mark Ballas before finishing runner-up to actor Alfonso Ribeiro and partner Witney Carson. Sadie will be one of several members of the Duck Commander family that will be in honorary positions for NASCAR\u2019s third-highest paying race.<\/p>\n

Those include:<\/p>\n

Jase Robertson and 12-year-old Rowdy Robertson, the recently adopted son of Willie and Korie, will provide the most famous words in motorsports in their role as co-Grand Marshals.<\/p>\n

Uncle Si will spice up driver introductions as he will announce the top-10 starting lineup for the Duck Commander 500 while his brother and family patriarch, Phil, will deliver the invocation.<\/p>\n

Justin Martin, a Duck Commander employee and Duck Dynasty<\/em> co-star, will drive one of the pace cars and lead the field to the green flag.<\/p>\n

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck\/Buck Commander, will culminate the day by helping present the Duck Commander 500 trophy to the race winner in Sunoco Victory Lane.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our third year to sponsor the race,\u201d Korie Robertson said.\u00a0 \u201cThe first year when we walked out and saw the track and the Duck Commander logo, it was really a surreal moment for us.\u00a0 It was an emotional moment for all of us.\u00a0 It was very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the TMS Media Day event, the Robertsons shared a little-known, heartwarming story about last year\u2019s Duck Commander 500 where the couple met Rowdy, a 12-year old boy from Graham, Texas who would become their third adopted child.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis will always be a very special place for us and that is why we thought of starting the Drive Adoption campaign,\u201d Korie said.\u00a0 \u201cWe thought that it was the perfect opportunity to announce it right here at the race.\u201d<\/p>\n

To help generate adoption awareness, Texas Motor Speedway and Duck Commander have established a special \u201cDrive Adoption\u201d ticket package for NASCAR\u2019s first points-paying Saturday night race of the 2016 Sprint Cup season. The package consists of two frontstretch tickets for the Duck Commander 500 \u2013 NASCAR\u2019s third-largest paying race \u2013 and a pair of special Uncle Si Duck Commander duck calls for $150.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0\u201cDrive Adoption\u201d<\/a>\u00a0package is available beginning today and offers purchasers more than a 30 percent savings from the retail price. In addition, a $25 donation from each package sold will be made to Worldwide Foundation on behalf of Speedway Children\u2019s Charities. Fans also can visit\u00a0www.texasmotorspeedway.com\/driveadoption<\/a>\u00a0to make a \u201cDrive Adoption\u201d donation that Speedway Children\u2019s Charities will present to the Worldwide Foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cComing to the racetrack and seeing our logo is special,\u201d Willie said.\u00a0 \u201cMy dad always had big dreams and said to us boys that we were going to sell one million duck calls.\u00a0 We were super poor at the time and I always wondered how we were going to do that.\u00a0 Now seeing our logo here and all over America is just great and we are just proud to be a part of it because a lot of our fans are the same fans that watch NASCAR.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speedway Motorsports Inc. President and CEO Marcus said the Duck Commander 500 sponsorship at Texas Motor Speedway was one of the most unique race sponsorships in the history of Texas Motor Speedway and NASCAR.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a unique sponsorship in sports to have a reality show sponsoring a major sporting event,\u201d Smith said.\u00a0 \u201cThe product and the fan base are aligned perfect, and it is a pretty special deal when the CEO of a major brand comes in and sponsors a race like this one.\u00a0 Not only is Willie the CEO of the company he is also a celebrity with a lot of fans.\u00a0 We are appreciative of the investment that we have made and the partnership that we have had with Duck Commander.\u201d<\/p>\n
