EPPING, N.H. \u2013 NHRA<\/strong> and New England Dragway<\/strong> officials announced a sellout for Sunday of the NHRA New England Nationals<\/a> in Epping N.H. The New England Dragway was sold out Saturday and Sunday for the fifth annual NHRA New England Nationals with fans from all over the northeast flocking the grandstands, pit areas and campgrounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring pre-race ceremonies this morning I predicted another sellout and our guests didn\u2019t let me own,\u201d said New England Dragway General Manager Joe Lombardo. \u201cIt just reinforces my beliefs we have the greatest fans on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ninth of 24 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events is the first Sunday sellout since the 2016 Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals.<\/p>\n

Action at the NHRA New England Nationals continues Sunday with eliminations beginning at 11 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n
