love watching all kinds of sports. &nbsp;Being from Texas, I love football. &nbsp;Being from San Antonio, I love basketball. &nbsp;As I watched my beloved Spurs play the Warriors last night, I was reminded of one of the reasons I love to watch NASCAR races. &nbsp;In racing, all the stars compete every week. &nbsp;We come to the track or tune in to the TV to see our favorite drivers tear it up. &nbsp;It was hard for me last season when my favorite driver was out with health concerns, but I knew he would be back the minute he could. &nbsp;I knew that he wasn&#8217;t just resting, but he was trying to make sure he was able to race in the future. &nbsp;He wanted to race, he just couldn&#8217;t. &nbsp;To watch sports and not see my favorite players competing is boring. &nbsp;Last night both basketball teams were resting their stars. &nbsp;Neither team needed to win the game to put themselves in playoff contention. &nbsp;Neither team felt the need to put their best players on the floor. &nbsp;I love that in NASCAR there is no such thing as a race a driver doesn&#8217;t need to win. &nbsp;Everyone wants to win every week. &nbsp;That&#8217;s how sports should be played. &nbsp;That&#8217;s what we fans want to see. &nbsp;Sports are a way to bring out the best in us. . .or the worst in us. &nbsp;I always want to the see the best. &nbsp;In NASCAR, all the stars show up
