Photo credit: Getty Images for Texas Motor Speedway.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Courtesy of TMS Media Relations<\/em><\/p>\n<p>FORT WORTH, Texas &nbsp;\u2013 Last Sunday\u2019s W\u00fcrth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway dominated the TV motorsports landscape while going head-to-head against Formula 1 and IndyCar.<\/p>\n<p>The May 4 W\u00fcrth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY drew 2.56 million viewers on FS1, outperforming the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix (2.1 million viewers on ABC) and IndyCar (914,000 viewers on FOX). The Cinco de Mayo Weekend event topped all sporting events for the week across the FOX family of networks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFantastic weather, planning, execution and a track surface coming into its own all came together to produce an amazing Cinco de Mayo race weekend at Texas Motor Speedway,\u201d said Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President &amp; General Manager Mark Faber. \u201cWe had a packed house of race fans from across the country and around the globe, plus millions more watching on television.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJimmie Johnson called Texas Motor Speedway a \u2018Treacherous Track\u2019 last year and, along with the drivers, it delivered a little something for everyone: side-by-side racing; a little chaos; and a third-of-a-second margin of victory in overtime. The W\u00fcrth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY was everything our team worked so hard for this past year, and we\u2019re receiving great feedback from our fans that this race and the overall experience were exactly what they wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Viewership of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series through 12 races (including The Clash) is up 13% on FOX and 16% on FS1 YOY.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Saturday\u2019s NASCAR Xfinity Series Andy\u2019s Frozen Custard 300 on The CW pulled in 1.002 million viewers, and Friday\u2019s NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series SpeedyCash.com 250 on FS1 garnered 401,000 viewers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR Weekend Viewership Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NASCAR Cup Series: The W\u00fcrth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY earned a 1.38 household rating on FS1, with an average of 2.6 million viewers tuned in per minute, up +7% over the 2024 NCS Dover (race #11 in 2024) and up +9% over 2024 NCS Texas which ran as race #9 in mid-April last year.<\/p>\n<p>*The W\u00fcrth 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY 400 was the most-watched points race at Texas since 2020 when it was run in July on NBCSN (2.7 million)<\/p>\n<p>*The Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR tripleheader weekend ranked as the #2 sport on cable over the weekend behind only the NBA Playoffs and delivered the #1 sports telecast across FOX Sports this week (including FOX broadcast network).
