FORT WORTH, Texas – Some 17 NTT IndyCar Series drivers are participating this week in test sessions at Texas Motor Speedway in preparation for the upcoming racing season.<\/p>\n

Texas Motor Speedway will open the 2021 major event season May 1-2 with an NTT INDYCAR SERIES doubleheader. The Genesys 300 will air live May 1 on NBCSN beginning at 6 p.m. CT while the XPEL 375 will air live May 2 on NBCSN beginning at 4 p.m. CT.  Both races will be the 33rd and 34th INDYCAR SERIES races at TMS since the first race during the track\u2019s inaugural season in 1997.<\/div>\n

The revised 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule makes Texas Motor Speedway the third race weekend of the season, the first and only oval track race before the Indianapolis 500.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
