(Photo by Chris Graythen\/Getty Images)<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">The driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Toyota led the most laps (96) and out-pointed the two other most dominant regular season drivers \u2013 Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick to hold a two-point advantage on the 16-driver Cup Playoff field as it heads to Richmond (Va.) (Photo by Jonathan Ferrey\/Getty Images)<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">\u201cWe finished third with the best car.&nbsp; The last three weeks we had a top three car and we finished 14th or worse in every one of them; know what I&#8217;m saying?&nbsp; So it&#8217;s a tough sport.&nbsp; A lot of things can happen, and momentum and luck being on your side, there&#8217;s a lot to say for it.&nbsp; Obviously they&#8217;re executing, they&#8217;re doing all the little things right, and that&#8217;s what it takes to win these things.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">Three weeks ago Keselowski started the streak with a win at Darlington, leading 24 laps compared to Kyle Larson\u2019s 284 out front. He won again at Indianapolis last week leading nine laps total, compared to 37 laps out front for both Denny Hamlin and Clint Bowyer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">And this is the third three-race winning streak on the year. Seven-time 2018 winner Kevin Harvick won three straight early in the schedule, including the regular season race here at Las Vegas in March. Kyle Busch, a six-time race winner in 2018, won three straight in April at Texas, Bristol, Tenn. and Richmond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">But both Harvick and Busch \u2013 who were tied atop the standings entering the Las Vegas Playoff opener \u2013 either crashed out (Harvick) or had to rally from a mishap (Busch).<\/p>\n<p class=\"aolmail_MsoNoSpacing\">Truex\u2019s strong effort Sunday resulted in his place atop the championship \u2013 by two points over Busch and 18 over Keselowski.
