FORT WORTH, Texas \u2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series<\/a> driver Todd Gilliland<\/strong> received his high school diploma from track president Eddie Gossage<\/strong> during a pre-race ceremony Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old and third-generation NASCAR driver walked across the stage prior to the start of the PPG 400 and officially graduated from high school.<\/p>\n

Gilliland started on the outside pole position.  He is the fourth high school graduate\/driver to be presented a diploma by Gossage.  In past years Erik Jones (2014), Cole Custer (2016) and Noah Gragson (2017).<\/p>\n
