Kyle Busch wins pole for inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss 250 at COTA

AUSTIN, Texas – Kyle Busch earned the pole for Saturday’s inaugural NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss 250 at Circuit of the Americas.

Busch, who was driving the No. 54 Skittles Gummies Toyota, qualified for the top spot after posting a time of 160.349 seconds, 76.558 mph after racing around a rained-soaked 3.4-mile road course.
Busch’s pole award is the first this season and it will mark his first top 10 start in the Xfinity Series in 2021. It was also his 69th pole in 358 NASCAR Xfinity Series races.
Ross Chastain qualified second in his No. 07 G Coin Chevrolet after recording a lap time of 160.457, 76.506 mph. It will be his first top 10 start of 2021.
Cole Custer, Alex Labbe, Tyler Reddick, Justin Haley, AJ Allmendinger, Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier and Harrison Burton round out the top 10.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series Pit Boss 250 will begin at 3 p.m. and will consist of a 46 lap, 156 mile race.
