FORT WORTH, Texas – For the last five years, Texas Motor Speedway’s Hawg Heaven line of concession items has provided fans with a vast array of unusually delicious concession items for its race weekends.

In April, Chef Lincoln Engstrom gave us the Hawk Heaven BLT, a modern-day twist on an old-time classic. For June’s DXC Technology 600 Verizon IndyCar Series race weekend, Engstrom is set to deliver another contemporary curveball, Hawg Heaven Funnel Fries.

Playing off a Southern favorite, chicken and waffles, the Hawg Heaven Funnel Fries combine funnel cake fries, popcorn chicken nuggets, bacon-infused syrup, maple-candied bacon, whipped topping and dusted with powered sugar. The chicken nuggets are tossed with Tajin, a seasoning powder consisting of dehydrated lime juice, salt and chile peppers, giving it the perfect combo of sweet and spicy.

The Hawg Heaven Funnel Fries are available at the Levy All-American concession stand (Section 405 just north of Gate 4). Price is only $10. The Hawg Heaven Funnel Fries will be on sale throughout the tripleheader weekend that features the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rattlesnake 400 on Friday night, the Stadium SUPER Trucks on Saturday afternoon as well as 30 minutes after the checkered flag falls on “America’s Original Nighttime IndyCar Race,” the DXC Technology 600.

The Hawg Heaven concession line began in 2013 with Hawg Heaven Bacon Cotton Candy and has featured the Shake ‘n Bacon Brew bacon-infused beer milkshake, Bacon Nachos, Queso Wings, Double Barrel Dawg, the Final Rocky Road-eo ice cream sundae honoring Jeff Gordon’s final season in 2015, the BBQ Melt, the Ranchero Dawg, and more.
